Part A: practices texting their patients and clients
When your practice texts from its ZentryVoice number, your practice is the sender under the TCPA and carrier rules. You must obtain the consent the message type requires, keep a record of it, send only what the recipient agreed to, and stop when asked. ZentryVoice registers your brand and campaign with The Campaign Registry (10DLC) from the use case you declare at activation, applies carrier content rules, and processes STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT and HELP automatically on every number, logging each event to your audit log. Opted-out numbers are blocked for outbound texts until the recipient opts back in.
Texting is enabled only after the Business Associate Agreement or industry addendum is signed, because message bodies on a medical or dental account may contain protected health information. Message content, consent records and opt-outs are stored on the practice timeline and exported with the rest of your data.
Part B: the ZentryVoice account-notifications program
Program name: ZentryVoice account notifications. ZentryVoice sends text messages to practice administrators who opt in during signup or in the portal. Message types: number port status, service alerts and maintenance notices. Sign-in codes for the Control Plane are sent by email, not SMS. Message frequency varies with account activity. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive these messages is not a condition of purchasing any ZentryVoice product or service.
Opt in, opt out and help
You opt in by ticking the unchecked “Text me account notifications” box where we collect your mobile number, or by enabling notifications in the portal. Reply STOP to any message to opt out; we send one confirmation text and no further messages. Reply HELP for help, or contact support@zentryvoice.com (Mon–Fri 8am–8pm ET · urgent line 24/7). Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy of mobile information
Mobile numbers and opt-in records collected for the program are used only to send the messages described here and to keep the required consent records. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with sub-processors that deliver the service (the messaging carrier) is limited to what delivery requires. See the Privacy Policy for the rest.
